Fulltext department
Custom search engine technology requires continuous development and maintenance. Our full-text department currently includes over 100 employees and tens of off-site employees working in multiple subsidiaries (Prague, Brno, České Budějovice).
The department is divided in a couple of teams, each of which takes care of a specific search engine component.
The teams include:
- researchers
- developers
- product managers
- administrators
The main purpose of our off-site employees is to evaluate web pages in relation to search queries according to specific rules. This is important for measuring search results quality and improving search algorithms.
The full-text department cooperates with universities such as CTU, MU, CU or UWB.
