Seznam.cz, which has owned a majority share since July 2018 in Voice of Prague, operator of the Expres FM and Classic Praha radio stations, has become its 100% owner. The radio stations, which broadcast in Prague and Central Bohemia, now anticipate a greater focus on quality and independent news coverage along with talk radio. The specific musical focus enjoyed on the airwaves by no less than 90,000 listeners shall remain a priority of the new management.
“The one-hundred-percent incorporation of both radio stations into Seznam is the logical continuation of the partnership established last year. Our goal is for existing listeners to continue to enjoy the high-quality music the radio stations bring them every day, while attracting new audiences through trustworthy reporting and a larger share of talk radio,” explains Aleh Drohal, Operations Director of Seznam.cz.
Expres FM and Classic Praha are regional radio stations that reach listeners throughout the Czech Republic through internet broadcasting and mobile applications.
